Rajans Badminton Akademy (RBA) began with a simple yet powerful dream in 1997 — to build a space where passion for badminton could truly thrive. Founded by Mr. Rajan Mohire, a dedicated coach and player, RBA started as a small initiative to train young enthusiasts in Belgaum with discipline, focus, and love for the sport.

 

What started with just a handful of players and a modest court has today grown into a renowned academy that has produced hundreds of players, including state and national-level champions. For over two decades, RBA has been committed not just to building skills, but also to nurturing values like commitment, resilience, and sportsmanship — qualities that define a true athlete.

 

RBA was born from a vision: to create a world-class badminton training facility in North Karnataka that could take talent from the grassroots to greatness. Through hard work, innovation, and unwavering dedication, that vision became reality.

 

Today, RBA stands as the only badminton academy in Belgaum to have produced multiple state champions — a record unmatched by any other local academy. In fact, no other academy in North Karnataka has consistently produced as many champions as RBA.
